KWEST, originally from Toronto, Canada, with a career spanning over three decades as an international artist. Renowned for his versatility, he skillfully utilizes diverse materials, crafting monumental public sculptures, murals and paintings. 

Since initiating his artistic practice in 1993, KWEST ascended to become one of North America’s foremost graffiti artists. As a self-taught sculptor, he is acclaimed for pioneering a distinctive sculptural style rooted in his graffiti techniques fused with contemporary aesthetics. 

Informed by a nuanced interplay of experiences from his storied past and the unfolding present, KWEST continues to shape his artistic narrative from his studio in Nosara, Costa Rica, delivering both bespoke commissioned artworks and resonant public sculptures.
